State of the Union

So here we are dropped in the middle of the nation's capitol. It's about time for my yearly state of the union address to friends and family. No really, I wish I had the time to write more often. I've been working long hours and going to school full time now for a while.

I've grown to love DC. There are so many good restaurants, good public transport, and I find the people to be very pleasant although I constantly hear other people talking about how they miss "back home" and all the nice people. Coming from California I was craving something a little "less nice" I guess.

Future Travels

We have plans very soon to go to London, I am going to a veterinary conference in Phoenix, and then we are going to Maine for a week to go on a sailboat cruise.

Work

Work is good. I love where I am currently employed and feel as though they truly appreciate me. can't ask for more than that I would say.



Well, short and sweet post tonight, but it's better than nothing and maybe, just maybe I can keep it up.
